Shohini Bagchee assists Croll & Co as counsel. Shohini is a partner in the firm of Brion Raffoul and, along with the other partners of Brion Raffoul, she works jointly with Croll & Co. to provide patent and industrial design services to Croll & Co clients.

Shohini has expertise in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for clients ranging from multinational corporations to startups in before the Canadian, United States and Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) Patent Offices. Shohini is also experienced in the preparation of patentability, validity and infringement opinions. In addition, Shohini prepares and prosecutes industrial design applications in Canada and the United States.

Specifically, Shohini drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the following areas:

• Petroleum
• Metallurgical
• Mechanical
• Commercial inventions

Shohini has a Bachelor of Science (Chemical Engineering), has a Masters of Engineering (Chemical) from the University of Ottawa and is a Professional Engineer. She is also a Registered Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States.
