Natalie Raffoul assists Croll & Co as counsel. Natalie is a partner in the firm of Brion Raffoul and, along with the other partners of Brion Raffoul, she works jointly with Croll & Co. to provide patent and industrial design services to Croll & Co clients. Natalie has almost 10 years of experience with national full-service and IP boutique firms. She has expertise in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for both multinational corporations and startups in Canada, the United States and for the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). Natalie also provides advice to clients, in both English and French, on worldwide patent filing strategies and portfolio management, specifically in Asia, Europe and the United States.

Specifically, Natalie drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the following areas:

• Electronics
• Wired, Wireless and optical communications and networking
• Optical components and manufacturing processes
• RF antenna design
• Fuel cell technologies
• Software processes and business methods
• Mechanical arts

Natalie holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science from the University of Western Ontario and a law degree (Juris Doctor) from Queen’s University. She is a Professional Engineer in Ontario and a Registered Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States.
