Art Brion assists Croll & Co as counsel. Art is a partner in the firm of Brion Raffoul and, along with the other partners of Brion Raffoul, he works jointly with Croll & Co. to provide patent and industrial design services to Croll & Co clients. Art has 10 years of experience with a variety of IP boutique firms. Highly experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent applications for multinational corporations, government agencies, and startups, he is also well-versed in worldwide patent strategies, IP mining and licensing strategies.

Specifically, Art drafts and prosecutes patent applications in the following areas:

• Wireless technologies
• Communications and computer networking and related systems
• Optics/electro-optic communication systems
• Cryptography/encryption based technologies

Art has a Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) from McMaster University, as well as a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New Brunswick. He is also a Registered Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States.
